Is this dark enough?

This is 17dpo. Would you expect this to be darker by now?

My doctor said I should wait till one week after my period is late, that I would drive myself mad checking lines. so maybe test again in a few days. though the tests say any line is a positive.

If that is ovulation test, I would switch to a digital. I drove myself crazy trying to read those tests, and finally invested in the digital. I know they're expensive, but it makes life so much easier. They are worth the money.

I'm not sure how that pregnancy test works, but all the tests I use, if there is a line your pregnant. With a pregnancy test, it's not about the darkness of the line, it's whether or not there is a line. If you feel its light/faint its probably bc the hcg hormone is low right now. So I would say congrats! Contact your doctor for confirmation.
