Breast pumps?

My health insurance says they’ll cover a double electric breast pump at 90%. There are so many options! How do you narrow it down? I’m a first time mom hoping to breast feed and return to work after maternity leave, but keep breast feeding.

I would choose spectra if possible. It is considered a hospital grade pump and much more gentle and quiet then a medela

I’m getting a spectra due to the fact it’s a closed system and that you can customize it to your body’s own natural let down! Get the blue one with the rechargeable battery!

I got the Spectra 1, it is easiest for traveling and comes with extra battery pack. I went thru Aeroflows website, they contacted my insurance, gave me a list of free and discounted pumps.  Spectra 2 would have been free but I wanted the Spectra 1 which needed authorization from my OB since it's hospital grade (which Aeroflow also took care of getting from my OB). I paid less than $100 for the Spectra 1 and look forward to figuring it out. 😊

I got the medela but the spectra seemed good too. A friend used the medela and recommended it.
