Dear People Who Threw The Crowd Surfer Into The Mosh Pit

He is someone’s son, maybe someone’s brother, father. He’s someone’s best friend. He’s someone’s everything. I know it was an accident. But it was an intentional accident. You MEANT to launch him in the air. You didn’t mean for him to break his neck and leave him paralyzed, however. It’s a tragedy. People are bloodthirsty for y’alls blood. I’m not one of them. Blood for blood isn’t going to fix things like this. But please, just own up to it. There are no legal repercussions you could face. But seriously. To ANYONE who goes to concerts where there are mosh pits or crowd surfers. Be courteous. If there’s a crowd surfer, put your god damn hands up and do what you can to pass them along safely. If you know for a fact you can’t support them, or if you’re too short to, then try to step out of the way. But make sure those around you see them and can handle them. If someone has crowd surfed 8 times in the last 3 songs, then by all means, take their shoe and throw it to security. Or tell them to chill. But NO MATTER WHAT, NEVER EVER THROW THEM INTO THE AIR. That’s just asking for something serious to happen. Because of your actions, there is a man who is paralyzed. He is going through a series of surgeries to hopefully fix most of the injury. So far, after one, he’s still paralyzed. He is going to need intense physical therapy afterwards if he ever wants a CHANCE at walking again. Just know what you did was stupid and cost someone a lot of money, pain, and stress. Let alone, their ability to walk.
