When can you take a bath with vaginal stitches???
Thanks for the opinions! I called my nurse and she said as long as you feel healed then you can take a bath! :)

My OB told me to enjoy a bath when I wanted to. Had two stitches & took a bath when little boy was 3 days old. No issues & it felt wonderful!!

I was told you can have a bath right away as long as you’ve “pre-cleaned” in the shower so you’re not using the bath to clean yourself

I asked my nurse this and she laughed. She told me to take as many as I wanted. And I had stitches. So enjoy that bath!!

I had a first degree tear. Barely any stitches. I didn’t take a “bath” until close to 5 Weeks PP.

You're not supposed to take bath with vaginal stiches. I wouldn't until my check up and they say the stiches are gone.
