HELP cant have epidural

Gabrielle

Hello, I'm currently 36 weeks and wanting for every tip I can get to cope with the pain during labor. I have type 1 Von Willebrands disease which is a blood clotting disorder. Because of that I can't have any form of pain medication during labor or any time (literally not even over the counter pain medication). I wanted to try for a natural birth anyway but it just scares me to not even have the option because I know quite a few people who tried for natural labors but we're in labor so long that they needed an epidural to get some rest and have the strength for pushing. Any advice from all of you mommas who have had natural births is much appreciated. I also can't have an episiotomy, use of forceps or vacuum and quite a list of other things so I have my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly. Edit: I also would like some tips on helping my body go into labor hopefully not much after my due date because I can't be induced and late babies run in my family and my husbands. Just looking for natural things I can do to help my body prepare for labor over the next few weeks. TIA!
