When did your baby engage?

Question

I just went in to my 39 week appointment and baby girl is still floating around above my bladder.  My doctor was telling me to prepare for a late birth - or possibly induction :( - and I'm looking for a little reassurance.

A lot of babies don’t engage until right before or as labour begins especially if it’s not your first baby it doesn’t predict when labour will happen or how early or late it will be everyone is different to wouldn’t worry so much about it

I found out my daughter was engaged at 39+3 I had her at 39+5
