OPK Negative?

Hey ladies! First time opk user. According to my glow app, I should be ovulating either yesterday or today. I took an ovulation test last night and it was negative. I’ll test again this pm but wanted to know if I’m only supposed to use on my actual ovulation day?

imo you should start testing a day before your fertile window. glow said I would ovulate December 9 and I had sex on November 30 not trying to get pregnant and I did..

I too am supposed to be ovulating tomorrow according to Glow but I took a opk yesterday and it was almost positive and then I took another two this morning and they were both negative so I'm wondering if I already ovulated. This is my first month using them but I'm assuming the line supposed to get darker closer to your ovulation date and not lighter.
