Is 20 to young to start TTC?

We own our home, have been best friends since we were 13, and are engaged. I feel his family will be very supportive, but mine will not (they’ll tell me to abort as they think we’re too young and I’ll have to go through it without them as i find that unacceptable). We’ve not told my family we’re ttc as we could do without the earache and arguments.

You do what's right for your situation. I would say it was amazing having 5 years of being married and it just being the two of us. We were free to do whatever we wanted, whenever. And now we feel even more prepared to welcome our little one.

only if you and your partner can provide a consistent healthy, stable, safe environment for your child. if not, then you should wait until you can. owning a home is not the most important part. having a strong relationship and mental emotional stability is.

Only you and your partner know when you're ready. I'm pregnant at 23 and I'm so happy. I'd much rather have days in with my family than be out doing things people do in their 20's. I get home sick easily so I never wanted to travel. But everyone told me to travel and see the world first.. I was like no thanks.

Your an adult now and your parents cannot "make" you abort. No one can make you abort, a person aborts because they simply want to and I find it ridiculous when someone says "they made me abort" no that's not true. If you are TTC that's none of your families business especially since you are no longer under their roof. They need to get a grip, your 20 not 15 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦‍♂️

you're an adult under your own roof . Parents shouldnt have an opinion Is marriage in the near future...? if so then Go for it I dnt see why not

I was 19 when I had my first, almost 21 with my second. I had a lot of hate but I do my best as a mom, my age doesn't matter. Your age doesn't matter either. If you're providing for yourself and able to afford everything, go with your gut and follow your heart.
