Crazy, fast, easy birth!

A month later and I finally have the time to write this.

March 29, I went to the hospital around Midnight cause I was having 3-5 min contractions. They checked me and said I was at a 2. They had me walk around for an hour and drink lots of water. After an hour of walking around, they checked me again and I was at a 3. My nurse gave me an option of either going home and staying and I choose to go home. She said she have the next shift of workers keep an eye our for me to come back in. I went home annd slept most of that day.

March 30, we went back to the hospital around 11pm. As soon as I got there around midnight, the nurses said they were waiting me. They got me into a room, and checked me and I was at 5. My contractions we're really strong and going off the chart. I got up and walked around for a little bit. They checked me again a little while later and I was at a 6. I tried to sleep and got about an hour of sleep. Then my contractions started to slow down...

It was about 6 am. The midwife started me on pit. After about 30 mins on pit my contractions had gotten really strong and I was breathing through them with tears rolling down my face. I requested an epidural and some pain medicine. They gave me the pian medican and started me of fluids for the epidural. Once the fluids Finnished I got my epidural and I felt SOO much better. By this time all the family had showed up. Most of the family was in the room talking and getting excited that we would soon have baby here. The nurse was doing the routine of turning me over every 30 mins. She turned me over to my right side and the baby's heart rate started to drop. So she started to turn me to my left side. I had an exercise ball between my legs. I felt a tingle between my legs and looked at my boyfriend and said I feel something between my legs. The nurse lifted the sheet up and ran out of the room and called all the other nurses in. They were yelling for everyone to get out of the room. Other nurses were telling me to push. It was crazy and a rush. After TWO pushes baby was here. They put her on my chest and dad cut the cord. We were all still in shock of what had just happened.

Recovery was really quick after about 2 hours I was able to walk around. I only had a few streches, no tears. She lached after she was born. I couldn't have had a more perfect pregnancy and delivery.
