Ladies! My man and I are trying to figure out a compromise here. If he’s being responsible and things are kept up around the house, how long do you let your man game with his friends?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. He doesn’t do this every night, but we’re trying to figure out a compromise so he gets his fun time and I still get time with my man.

I don’t “let” him do anything. His choice he works hard if he wants to play PlayStation after work for a bit fine. Long as it doesn’t interrupt me and also I love some alone time.

I’m sorry, what?! My husband isn’t a child. He doesn’t “earn” video game time nor does he get rewarded for doing what a grown ass man should be doing. As a grown adult, husband and parent, he picks up after himself, does the laundry, cleans the dishes, takes care of the dog as well as our daughter, cooks dinner, etc all without me asking. Because that’s what an adult does. And he plays video games when he chooses to as well because, again, he’s an adult who can make his own choices. He doesn’t have to ask permission or “earn it”. The relationships some of you ladies are in are absolutely ridiculous to me 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

I “let” him play however long he wants. This works great for both of us. He gets to play what he wants and I get to play what I want uninterrupted. 
If he was doing it every night for an excessive period of time (think 7+ hours), I could see needing to schedule allotted time. 
Since he’s not doing it everyday, why are you trying to put him on a schedule? Together time is important, but so is him having time to play video games alone or with friends. Can you have together time on days other than the ones he plays video games on? I think that might be the better compromise here. 
I really need a bit more info to suggest anything though.

This makes no sense. Do you give him pocket money too? Or is his reward for keeping on top of things around the house just him getting to play with his friends? Do you spray him in the face with water when he gets too loud?

He can play as long as he wants, we still hang out and stuff before bed. Usually it's 3-4 hours

my husband tells me when he's going out and who with. he doesn't ask permission. I dont have any problems. with him going out he's his own person. I spend plenty of time with him during the week and if he wants to go out one night, go for it. as long as he can control how many times he goes out or have a good balance of time with his friends and you.

I am a SAHM, and my honey is gone from 6:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday. he is an online streamer. when he started up he would come home and go straight to the computer and play till 1am. 
it started to take a toll on our relationship, so I asked if he could make a schedule and we could have some time together.
