Is your spouse lazy ??

Question

Do you have a lazy spouse? One where you have to tell them time and time again what to do around the house? You have to tell them what to do when it comes to getting to work on time? Getting their things taken care of? Is it common for men to be so lazy & not have be on track & take their freaking time?! Does it make you feel like you have a child instead of a husband/boyfriend?

My husband is awesome. Gets up every day at 4.30 to go to work. Takes care not to be to loud getting ready as I don’t start work till 8.30. Cleans around the house etc. Hate people being lazy if both of you work you should be doing your fair share of all household jobs. 🤷‍♀️

apparently this is really common but my spouse isn’t like this at all
and I feel lucky as fuck
mine is the type of guy who calls himself lazy because he loves to be at home or play a video game or take a bath or basically rest?? lol but he’s not lazy at all.. he’s never been late to work, he goes to the gym every day, he takes me out almost every weekend, he helps or makes supper really often, he’s always doing things for me when I’m being lazy or don’t feel good. he leads or grocery store trips, he lets my dogs out, he drives us everywhere. 
coincidently though I am a housewife so A lot of chores and things do get taken care of by me, I pick up all the laundry and dishes and put some of his things back where they go daily. 
there’s only a handful of things that I’ve ever had to tell him to do, like don’t put his wet swimsuit in the closet and try not to put lots of food in the sink oh and to hang his towel up correctly so it dries better. 
sometimes I pick at him for putting things back in the refrigerator the wrong way but I know that’s kind of silly I just get shocked when I can’t find what I need in the door of the fridge. 
overall I find his living habits to be completely compatible with me and I’m thankful. I just want women to know that it is possible to meet a man who doesn’t drive you up the wall.. we all have different things that drive us crazy. 
also it’s much much harder on a couple who both work full-time because housekeeping becomes much more of a chore.

No my husband isn’t lazy. He works about 50 hours a week and still does chores all on his own. He takes initiative to get something done if it hasn’t been done. And when he sees me doing something he’ll stop to help 99% of the time, whether it’s laundry or dishes. 
Then again he’s 36 and knows how to pick up after himself. I’m not his mother and he knows it. Not all men are lazy!

I'm super thankful that my hubby is so helpful. I'm a sahm and he works full time. He always helps with diapers before he goes, he usually cooks dinner (he loves cooking) and I do breakfast and lunch.  He picks up while I put the kids to bed, but he always reads to them first. I clean during the day, but he helps make the house 100% so I don't have to do it after they're asleep. He does a load of dishes daily  (I despise dishes) and I do the laundry (he despises laundry) it's a balance that really works for us.

Yesssss! I say all the time I’m not your mom I’m your wife which I know I shouldn’t because it starts a fight but oh my gosh. I work full time, take care of our daughter by myself, and do all the house work because he works a different shift. But still he could wake up a little earlier and do a little before he goes to work but half the time I have to call him at 2pm to make sure he’s up to be at work by 2:45. Even a roommate would be more help because they would at least pick up after themselves.

I’m the only one who works. I take my daughter to daycare, I pay all the bills. I do all the cleaning & laundry. In the process of buying a house for myself & my daughter. If you can’t contribute to anything while living in this apt then you don’t deserve to move with us to a nice house. He’s super lazy. Sleeps in until 2-3pm. Must be nice. Doesn’t pay for anything other than his phone, his gas, & all his fast food. I’m very annoyed when I’m home. I can’t wait to move. 🤞🏼🤞🏼👋🏼👋🏼

My husband isn’t like this. I married a man, not a boy. I don’t understand why so many women do this. If you have to tell your significant other to clean up after themselves and be a grown adult then you shouldn’t be marrying them. Men know how to be adults and take care of themselves.

Yes and its BEYOND frustrating. I’ve told him time & time again that I’m not his mother nor his maid. He was an only child and mommas boy, and I taught him how to do his first solo load of laundry when he was 20 (I was 17) if that tells you anything 😂 He’s so bad at the smallest things but I’m OCD and very clean so it bothers the hell out of me. For instance— he’ll leave his boxers/pants on the floor every single morning after his shower. He’ll leave empty coke cans sitting out, plates etc from his food. He doesn’t do dishes (says he doesn’t like to lolol like I do?!?), & I’ve solely done them by hand myself for 7 years otherwise we’d be eating off paper plates and cups forever. He shaves and leaves hair everywhere, never tidied up, the list goes on. He thinks vacuuming the carpet & taking the trash out (after I have to ask because it’s overflowing) is sufficient. The worst part is, he expects me to put the new bags in the trash cans since he took it out 🙃🤭🤬 I tell him he half asses it, which he of course doesn’t see. 
I love him, but I’m obligated to clean up after my two sons, NOT his ass. I work 50hrs a week too, with him working 40. Not all men suck, but we simply allow ourselves to settle 🤷🏻‍♀️

My boyfriend is the farthest thing from lazy he’s works over 70 hours a week still helps me if I ask him to (I don’t often cause I know he’s tired) I do all our laundry have dinner cooked for when he comes home, but I go to school full time and he pays for everything. He helps even when I tell him he doesn’t have to 🤷🏻‍♀️
