4 weeks with pain on lower left side of stomach

am currently 4 wks and 2 days pregnant. I started having a pain on my lower left side 2 to 3 days ago. The pain is persistent and lasts all day. It’s more like a dull ache, it can be tolerated but today it went from an ache to a more pulling sensation that I could feel from there to under my butt and down to my feet. It lasted for 30 min, but now it is back to the dull ache. I have not had any bleeding, but it’s just very weird to me that it lasts literally almost all day for the past 2 to 3 days. I have spoken to a doctor, but she said just watch it and go to the ER if it gets worse I have not been able to see my OB yet. Anybody have a suggestion of what this could be or whether you have had a similar experience or if it sounds normal? Thank you in advance.
