Cloth diapers and hard water?

I’m confused as to what I need to do for cloth diapering and hard water. My son’s skin is super sensitive so I’m concerned about this. What do you do for your cloth diapers if you have hard water? I read somewhere you could use salt but idk how true that is. Thanks 🙏🏻

Get a test strip to determine how hard the water is. Mine is moderate so I use powdered Tide and half a cap of Calgon in my HE. Powdered detergents tend to have more softening ingredients than liquid

You’ll need to test the water from the machine and just add the appropriate amount of softener for the hardness number and depending on your detergent used. I also suggest studying up on Fluff Love University and/or joint the fluff love Facebook page.
