Rant about my over baring mom

She babies my brother and it drives me insane.

My brother caught a felony charge, lost his car and job. My husband and I are letting him stay with us but we’re expecting another baby soon so we’re moving to a bigger house 45 minutes away. Now that’s not happening until December. My brother is living with Me for free and has until December to get his shit together. Sounds reasonable right?

Well my mom is ALWAYS telling me every time I see her how we can’t move 45 minutes away because my brother has to get back and forth to work. And he will be on probation so he can’t just move. Mind you my husband has told him to apply for his job making good money and my husband will take him to work. Well he chose to stay in town and work a minimum wage job and walk an hour to work every day.

My mom keeps telling me how I shouldn’t be asking for his help with the bills because he owes $800 on attorney fees And is only making minimum wage. When he’s doing that by choice. My husband has offered him a great job and a ride. I’m just sick of it. She acts like I need to inconvenience my life for him. I was arrested 5 years ago for slapping my moms abusive boyfriend. I had to do a year of probation and random drug tests (when I don’t even smoke) I did all that while living with my aunt, paying rent to her and some how I managed to save $900 to pay off an eviction, and $100 to buy a used car. All that while raising my son. So when she tells me that my brothers life is so impossible to manage and how he can’t afford his court fees while working and living with me for free it Pisses me off

Edit: my mom helps him with his fees and he can’t stay with her because she gets public housing and when he was living there she almost got kicked out. No one can live with her.
