Is anyone else already experiencing swelling in their feet and ankles? I’ll be 26 weeks Friday and have lost sight of my ankle bones 😩

Amazingly, I haven’t had but one day of swelling. I think it was because I was on my feet for several hours without any time to sit. After that day, I make sure to sit for a few minutes every hour. I teach PreK, and I have a 3 year old at home, so I don’t get to sit much!

Drink TONS of water. I started at 24 weeks. Was scared I’d end up with preeclampsia. My BP is fine but I increased my fluid intake and the swelling has been manageable. At first it’d be gone by the morning but as time progressed it just stayed. Notice when I don’t drink enough water it gets really bad although some swelling is inevitable.

I freaked out I’ve never had swelling while pregnant but I had it for three days only my ankles and feet and I have high blood pressure this time around as well so I freaked out dr said I just need to try to rest with them up and to watch out for weird swelling like only one foot swollen not the other or facial or hand swelling as well which I never get that swollen or puffy face while pregnant either and actually this time around my face looks skinner than before pregnancy

I had some mild swelling in my ankles and feet 2 days last week (26 weeks). I have cut down my salt intake and bought new work shoes, omg.. today was the first day I didn’t have aching feet at the end of the day. I spent a lot on new shoes but sooo worth it.

Not with this pregnancy, but my last pregnancy I swear my feet were swelling up around 3/4 weeks! That’s how I knew how I was pregnant lol

I’m 24+4 and I get it now. I drink as much water as I can (with lemon, my midwife says that can help) and always put my feet up when I can. I also make sure not to eat a lot of salty things.
