my husband is trying to get me pregnant?

We recently went through a rough patch and have been working on things and our relationship is much better now. However, I have noticed since we began working on things he isn't using condoms and is finishing in me and he knows I am not on anything. I even asked if he knew that and he said he does. We already have a child and want more but it just seems so out of the blue when previously he was very big on ensuring condom use etc. Is he trying to get me pregnant? Thoughts?
