When do you start to get cramps before your period?

I used to only get cramps the day I started my period. I have been cramping for 4 days now and still haven’t started 😩 (and have had 2 negative tests, 4 days late for period) ugh! I know everyone is different- just wondering what the norm was for everyone else!

Also depending on your age, you may start to get new period symptoms. When I was in my twenties, all I had was cramping on the day of my period. Now I have cramping before and during, sometimes after. I also have headaches and nausea days before.
