Anyone ever tried an open marriage?

My husband and I have been married for 17 years. We’re both sexually pleased with each other but we want to spice it up! Obviously there would be boundaries set, but we’re strongly considering an open marriage. Anyone ever done this before? Was it easy to find like minded people? :)

I feel like if my partner and I ever do it that our marriage will never be the same... Off course he will be more interested on the other girl he has been with me for so long.. is like a kid with a new toy... Don't do it just talk dirty to him....

yall are grown do what yall want lol. you only live once. Everyone's different. i shared my man with a girl once.. well she was bisexual ( i honestly dont think i could have done it if she wasn't)  but anyways he had sex with both of us. but they both pleased me and pleasured me the most. it was exciting. that happened like 7 months ago and me and my man are still going on strong. i dont feel insecure or anything.No one was hurt. we did all get high though. like i dont think i could have done it without being high lol. it was an amazing experience to say the least. :) would i ever do it again?
probably yes but only with a woman who was bi and likes girls more than men.

I would try going to a sex shop and finding fun toys to try etc before bringing other people into bed with us. There are a lot of things that could go wrong. If you think your relationship is strong enough, maybe consider a threesome first. Maybe the other person/people could just do foreplay first and you can see how it makes you feel. Lots of open relationships end up having issues with jealousy. If neither you or your man are the jealous type maybe it's something you could try.

Try the internet and see if you can find local swingers or other like-minded people or groups.
Also, there is a poly/open relationship group here on glow,buts it's pretty dead, check it out though.
