How can I help my puppy?

My pup is 9weeks old and we just got her yesterday. Well she gets major anxiety when she gets put in her pin at night. It the only way to ensure her safety at night because she’s very curious. She howls and cries, loudly. I’ve put a stuffed puppy and a chew toy and a puppy pad (she’s paid trained) just Incase she has to go before I get up to get her. She also has a tiny blankie. She wants to lay next to me and sleep but she is so tiny that I’m afraid to let her sleep with me. What can I do to help her stay calm at night?

Maybe she's afraid of being alone ☹ put her little crate in your room, she's still little maybe she's not used to being alone, I would sleep with her 😭

We pretty much had to ignore our puppy the first night or 2 we had him. I would make sure to take him out to go potty every couple of hours. He had a blanket and stuffed animal in the crate with him and then we covered the crate with a blanket. That helped a lot! It Sucks letting them cry all night. We felt so bad but he eventually learned that we weren't leaving him and he would be let out in the morning

When we first brought our pup home he slept in the bathroom and would whine ALL night. I ended up sitting in the bathroom with him for the first few nights until he went to sleep then I would get up. He also loved a blanket that was warmed up in the dryer for a few minutes. Try a quiet radio and a warm blanket.

We adopted our dog, so he was 1.5 years when we got him. But he also got anxious when we kenneled him at night. We started giving him a treat right as he went in his kennel, and now almost a year later, he LOVES this part of his routine. He goes outside to go potty one last time at night then runs straight to his kennel and waits for his treat and is quiet all night.

I slept next to our dogs cages when we got then for the first 2 or 3 days. After that 1 of them was fine but the other was up every 3 hours anyways to go outside so he never was away from me for too long. They'll get through it soon once they learn and are more comfortable with their surroundings. Good luck!

You can try putting an alarm clock nearby, the old-fashioned kind that tick tocks. Sometimes this is soothing for both babies and puppies❤️

Maybe keep a light night on and create some kind of background noise like leave a tv on low volume

Just cover her kennel with a blanket and give her a treat. They also sell treats that help relax pups. She’s gonna cry for awhile but will get used to it.

You can get this plug in thing that lets out calming smells for pets 
And maybe give her your old tshirt to snuggle with
My cat did the same thing when I first got her she would cry and head Butt the door 🙈 but now she’s a bit older she knows like our schedule so after I have dinner she will go upstairs and lie down in her bed outside my bedroom ready for the night then in the morning she will be waiting and run over and say hi once I opened my bedroom door 
If you let them in your bed once they will expect that all the time

Is her crate small enough? It should pretty much only be big enough so that they can sit and turn around otherwise they don’t feel as safe/ I made the mistake of getting a big one at first thinking my dog would like the extra room. Blanket on top is also helpful (but make sure it’s breathable.)
