I just got mine yesterday. I also had it with my second pregnancy. It’s not only supposed to protect you but it also protects the baby for up to 6 months after it’s born against whooping cough.

I got mine Monday. My doctor said even if your up to date to get it every pregnancy so the antibodies will be passed on directly to the baby so they have the immunization until they are able to get the vaccine for themselves. The shot sucks I feel like crap afterwards but it’s better than my baby potentially catching pertussis and dying.

It literally says (on the manufacturer insert) that’s it’s not been tested as safe for pregnant women... 🤷‍♀️

I got it done. There are other kids around and I don’t want to take the chance.

FTM. I was wondering about this too. My doctor just mentioned it to me yesterday. I’m not against vaccines. I just want to do some research before I decide.

wasn't offered during my first pregnancy so I don't expect they'll offer this time either

I did get it with my first pregnancy because I was due for a booster. I won’t be getting it this time around cause I’m already up to date.

My husband and I got ours already, and the kids are up to date.  I wasn’t going. To take the risk with a newborn and all these sickness out here.
