Induction starts tomorrow UPDATE

I’m 40+6 and at my ultrasound today I was told he was at least 9lb5oz and content to stay put. I’m 5ft tall and have some hip and pelvic issues. My husband and I just stared at each other for a few moments.

My OB has been my dr for 16 years and knows me pretty well. We talked about options and plans and how she is not 100% convinced I’m not going to need a C-Sectiob. We decided to start my induction with cervidil tomorrow late afternoon with a plan of having the baby Saturday afternoon.

I’m not scared. More like the feeling you get right before a new tattoo. It’s going to hurt but the end result is going to be beautiful.

Update: went in for my induction. Was in labor and didn’t know it. Just felt crappy and had an upset tummy. I was too dilated for the cervidel so they said i could go home for a while and come back in the morning (I live 10 minutes away) or stay there. We went home to eat at the house and sleep in my own bed with my dogs. They let us keep our birthing suite and leave our bags there so I’m back at 7am for a tiny bit of pitocin to make sure I have him tomorrow.
