Here’s How I Got Pregnant!

Just wanted to share my journey to see if it could help anyone!

1. We prayed. Trust in God’s plan for you. Build/rebuild your faith. I know how hard it is but staying positive & not stressing was truly the key for us. My prayers are with you all TTC 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

2. We used preseed. The month I conceived was the first time I put preseed in deeper than I had in the past. I firmly believe I wasn’t putting it in deep enough.

3. Ovulation tests. It helps to know around what cycle days you ovulate. This takes a few cycles to figure out. We just happened to have intercourse the days before my fertility window started, tried to do every other day during fertile week until ovulation day. I didn’t push for it though-if we didn’t feel like it, I didn’t force it nor did I let it bring me down. We had intercourse on ovulation day about 8 hours after I got my peak but did not have intercourse the day after.

4. I gave up coffee, pop, and alcohol for lent. I went to strictly drinking only water in hopes to lose weight/decrease my caffeine intake & increase my water intake to see if that helps with getting pregnant. Second week of lent is when I conceived. Water helps your cervical mucus so you have a sticky bean!

5. My husband & I took the couples pack of one a day vitamins, but we weren’t perfect about taking them every single day. I had him start eating more fruits high in antioxidants which helps support healthy sperm (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)

6. I was that girl that thought the whole “putting your legs up in the air” thing was a total myth. Well, first time I tried it & bam... I got pregnant. I only had them up for a few minutes bc I was uncomfortable. So not sure if this was just coincidence but it worked for me!

7. Lastly, I do want to mention that I was on Clomid. My fourth round was the winner for us. I was not getting my periods regularly & my Dr said that meant I wasn’t ovulating. So she helped me get things rolling. I highly recommend going to an OBGYN if you’re struggling or just to be on the safe side & get checked out sooner rather than later 🤗
