Paragard fail (kinda long sorry)
So on June 5th I had my first ever paragard IUD placed in. Had some spotting and then my period came the following week. After my period came I stopped bleeding for a day and next thing ya know I start bleeding again. I checked my strings and for some reason they were really long... so I followed my gut feeling and I go to my gyn and she does a sono...
Come to find out th e surgeon who did my procedure placed it in wrong and it .shifted not only that it was bent sideways! Luckily my gyn and I caught it in time and I'm still in shock that happened. She said that's why I'm bleeding still. So ten mins later she pulls it out and placed a brand spanking new paragard... only this time... IT WAS PAINFUL AS HELL!
She explained that it has to be pushed and placed on the far top on the uterus. She's known as the IUD Guru in this clinic... she even did an sono after to show me that it did not perforated my uterus.... so far so good my only worry is that I'm still bleeding but it's super light.
Has this happened to any of you lovely ladies and how did your experience go? How did you deal with all this blood stuff?
Good or bad experiences are okay with me!
