Insulin resistant

I didn’t find out afterwards. I found out before. I’m taking Metformin

I am currently 31 +5 pregnant with GD I found out I had GD at around 11 weeks. Today I had one of my hospital appointment and found out that I am insulin resistant. I now have to take diaformin on top of my insulin and that scares me as I know it goes into my placenta but I don’t know the effects that has on my baby.
