I spoke to my fertility doctor about going on Femara and she made me schedule a phone appointment to speak with her. I had to wait more then two weeks for an appointment and we only spoke for FOUR minutes. All she said was that she was concerned about high blood pressure from the medication and that I should call their department again on the first day of my period. I don’t have high blood pressure. I have insurance with Kaiser . I was under the impression that she would write a prescription that I could pick up from the pharmacy. My period is expected to come in two days. I’m feeling so stressed out because what if I call her department the day I get my period and she’s not there or available? Can someone tell me the process of getting Femara? Is this normal?
