Doctor visits

Just a little curious when I should see a doctor... I got the positive test and went in had blood drawn and went back a few days later to get more blood drawn. I had to ask for the HGC levels and the nurses were reluctant to give me the results and couldn't say if they were good or not. I have an ultrasound scheduled on July 9th, I'm 5 weeks and 4 days and will be around 7 weeks. Only been pregnant once before and miscarried days after finding out. I have no officially due date or anything else and I'm just wondering is that normal or should I maybe be looking for a more involved doctor?
