My husband and I ran into some financial troubles 3 years ago, as a result could only afford groceries and other stuff like that with our credit card, it didnt help that right before we ran into trouble, he proposed, got me my dream ring which was expensive as hell, and had put the ring onto a credit card, obviously not planning on running into the issues we did, and shortly after getting engaged, I got pregnant, which happened about a month before everything started going downhill.

We had around $16,000 total in debt as of last August, both credit cards completely maxed. Finally things started looking up when I got offered my old job (quit when I was about to have our baby) and we were able to put money towards the cards again. within 8 months, we are now OFFICIALLY DEBT FREE! I'm so proud of us!

We put our last $300 onto our credit card! and now only use the credit cards for stuff when we know we will have the money to pay it off within 3 weeks. We've even put money into our savings account and in 4 months, we were able to save nearly $2,000!
