My full name is Alexandra (Alex for short)

If it’s a girl, her name is going to be Emery.

I think Emery Alexandra is pretty. But my husband wants the middle name to be Josephine after his deceased grandmother.

I see why he wants to do that and it would be very nice, BUTTTTTT

If it’s a boy, he’s going to be named after my husband. Same first and middle name.

I’m not a feminist by any means, but I am a little annoyed that he won’t even consider my name as the middle name. He’s even rolled his eyes when I’ve said Emery Alexandra. Like, really dude? I’ve been sick for 10 weeks, can’t eat normally, and you think it’s silly I want the baby’s name to be after me? The one doing all the work?

I even pointed out that it’s not fair that if it’s a boy it gets have his name. Why shouldn’t the girl have mine?
