Would you be worried?

Question

My one month old girl is seeming to avoid eye contact. sometimes she arches her back away from me. I do believe her eye is developing normally, because she loves staring up at her mobile. Is it too early to be worried?

Nothing to be worried about, totally normal at that age.

My daughter did that too and she’s fine

She's fine,  she's more interested in things like your nose, mouth,  hair,  your ears. She'll look at your eyes but only for a sec,  give her time and eventually she'll be able to maintain eye contact. My son is 4 months and hardly ever made eye contact, when he's laying flat on his back and that's if he wanted too lol he'll lock eyes for longer periods. Give it time

My daughter does this too. She can look at us for the most part and follow us. Sometimes she just arches back though and is looking around at other surroundings.
