Pregnant Girlies! How long of TTC did it take before your little one stuck? Do you give credit to something you did that month? If so, what?

Two things changed for us the month we conceived: 
1) we stopped trying (we’d both caught colds, counted ourselves out, found out I was pregnant, had a miscarriage, and was told to wait a cycle before trying, so we weren’t trying, though we weren’t preventing either since it had taken us over a year just to miscarry); and 
2) I started making sure to have orgasms after my SO finished (there’s a long backstory to not being able to orgasm in front of anyone), so I started handling things on my own after we were done. We did this the miscarry month and the subsequent month.
I’m a few days from my third trimester now!

I think that increasing my circulation by walking and exercising helped a ton. It's important to make sure that your uterus is getting enough blood and nutrients to support the egg. For example, this is one reason why smoking decreases your fertility; it decreases circulation to your ovaries and uterus. If you are often sedentary, you don't have good blood flow. So, I started walking NOT to lose weight, but just to keep my blood flowing very well throughout my body. This is also good for your general cardiovascular and heart health. If nothing else, I tried to do 30 min at least of straight walking everyday, which isn't hard at all and I think makes a difference

After a year of not conceiving I went in and tried clomid (which didn’t work but got my ovulation more on schedule).  I then went to a reproductive endocrinologist who did a full workup of labs which I found out my thyroid and vitamin D were low so I got on supplements.  Then we tested my tubes with a sonohysteogram and bam I was knocked up!

Both the hubby and I exercise a lot and eat very well. We don't smoke, we drink very little and we don't do drugs. 2 months before TTC we took prenatal vitamins, I tracked when I was ovulating and we had sex the days before and the days after (must have been about 15 times in total). Anyways, 1st month of trying it worked! I honestly didn't think it would as everyone says it takes time. Good luck on your journey <3 x

I wasn’t very careful for like 9 months. Drs said it’d be nearly impossible for me to get pregnant because of endo and ovarian cysts about every other month. I started taking evening primrose oil because it’s supposed to regulate periods and be a great omega 6 source. Then I got pregnant accidentally the month I started taking it... later found out it’s a naturally fertility herb!
