if everyone involved knows what's going on and there is plenty of open communication, I don't see why it's a problem. not for me though.

I was in one. It’s not for me. I have made some really awesome friends through it, though. As long as everyone involved is happy and comfortable then I don’t care what they do.

meh...usually one person wants it more than the other which will create problems. Very rare when 2 people are completely on the same page about it.
