Should I start doing things to get my body ready for labor?

Probably sounds confusing from the title but I'm 35 weeks and my midwife has been talking about possible induction at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure. Should I go ahead and start doing all the little tips and tricks to get ready for labor? More sex, more walking, yoga ball, pineapple, etc. I know none of these are 100% guaranteed to do anything, but I was just curious what you ladies would do, and if yes, anyone have anything good that worked for them? I'm staying away from castor oil completely as I feel the cons don't outweigh the pros. Thanks in advance!
