If you get gestational diabetes?

What are the chances that your unborn child will get it? I know someone who had it and her daughter was a diabetic.

From what i have read and studied there is a higher risk of diabetes type 2 if the mum had gestational diabetes, not type 1.

If you keep it under control during your pregnancy and everything is fine after birth, the chances are very slim. Just be prepared to have your baby get their blood sugars checked a couple times after birth!!

it is possible but I've had gd with both ny boy pregnancies and my boys dont have diabeyes. they monitor them very closely after birth checking there blood sugars to make sure
