Eyelashes won’t curl!!! 😤

Okay, so I have long, very straight, lashes. The problem is, I’ll curl them, and they just flatten back out as soon as I put anything on them. How can I fix this!?

I’ve tried the whole “curl, mascara, curl” method, I tried the “roll the curler along the lashes” method and they still insist on just flattening back out, making my eyes look smaller than they are. I even resorted to lash extensions a couple of times, but I can’t just keep going and getting them done. I also tried getting a lash lift and the certified person in town actually ruined my lashes and I had to regrow about half of them back out! So many of they broke off! 😭

Tips!? Mascara suggestions? Curlers? Application techniques? Help!!!
