i believe diversity is beautiful. I am not looking to debate who's right or wrong. we are all have our faiths. i just want to know what's your favorite thing or holiday you celebrate. i want to learn more. ❤

It's not a holiday but I really like holy communion. Funny story. When I was a little girl and we would have cummunion my church would ask who wanted the leftover loaf of bread. I would get it and line up my dolls and stuffed animals and lead cummunion with them as stand ins for people. When I would run out sometimes I would use regular bread and water.

Easter by far. According to my religion, it’s the best day ever

I’m Eastern Orthodox Christian and my favorite Feast is Pascha! It’s the most beautiful day of the year! (Western Christians call this day Easter). It begins at 11 pm on Saturday night with the Hours and Divine Liturgy begins at midnight and lasts until 3 am and afterwards there is a feast to break the 40 day Lenten fast (vegan diet for 40 days) which can last until 6 am. My favorite part is processing around the church with our candles while chanting. It’s beautifully peaceful and joyous and the church is adorned with flowers and greenery and all the silk vestments are white and gold. The most special part though is at the very end when the priest proclaims, loudly and joyously, “Christ is Risen!”. This is usually done in as many languages as are spoken in the congregation here in America. At my church, that means we say this in Russian, Greek, Slavic, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese.

I'm Christian and my husband is Muslim, we celebrate all the holidays  in my house! Double the fun! Lol

Ramadan. It's a time that we take to get even more closer to God and we fast. We are reminded of what we have, what we need to appreciate and that we should always be thankful and help others in need. I mean of course we should always try to do this everyday but it's such a different experience during this time, billions of people around the world are fasting at the same time and doing good deeds. It's just awesome.

I love Ramadan, and Eid. Ramadan helps you grow so much as a person, you learn so much about yourself, and you grow character. You learn selflessness, "hunger" and the value of fasting. I would reccomend to anybody honestly.
