Should I retake a course?

I just failed an exam/final for more Stats course and I’m wondering if I should retake it for a higher grade? Or just focus on getting good grades in summer courses to raise my gpa?

I would speak with a counselor. If that is a class really necessary towards your major I’d definitely consider it, but also you should find out for sure!

Do you need the class for your degree? If so, retake it.

If it’s required for your degree you’ll have to retake it regardless but if not, you don’t necessarily have to but it’s strongly encouraged that you do because it can easily raise your overall GPA. 
If you have the time to retake the course, I think you should give it a shot and consider taking it with another professor.

It depends if this course is a requirement for your program and is needed for other classes that you will need to take.
