PCOS go into remission?" /> 
Any experience with this? I was diagnosed with PCOS and was on birth control for about five months but then got off of it. My symptoms seem to be gone. My labs are coming back normal and no cysts are forming.

Yes, this can totally happen, it did for me.
You need to make a really good effort with the diet & lifestyle changes & it can happen.
If you don’t loose the weight (if overweight) you will continue to suffer.

My doctor and research have told me that although we will always have PCOS we can get a reprieve from the symptoms if we lose even 10% of our current body weight (of course assumed that PCOS has adversely affected weight).
The birth control will regulate your hormones for you so it will seem like your symptoms have subsided. Once you've been off the bc for awhile the symptoms may return. Doctors use bc for women with PCOS often for this purpose. I know several women who have conceived after using bc for 6 months and then stopping.

I’ve heard that if you change your diet, do exercise and practice a “stress-free” lifestyle you can get rod of the symptoms sometimes.
