i just found out i am pregnant and am due to start at job next week. Will i get maternity pay when the time comes or wont i qualify?

i thought you had to be working at least 6 months with a company after initial trial period (if you have one) to be entitled to mat pay

You'll get maternity allowance I found out I was pregnant 2 days after I started my new job after I was made redundant from my previous job and even though I've been permanently employed whilst pregnant it's still only the maternity allowance I'm entitled to!

where have you started working? if it's a large company like a supermarket / shop they usually have staff websites that state benefits your intitaled to.

Depends on your works policy. I would check with HR. I know with my job you have to be employed for so many months before being entitled to maternity pay.
