Navy???Military?

Question

Hi,
If you’re in the navy or something I just wanna know if you received free college and started your education while serving. I want to do that same but after 4 years I want to be a teacher

While Active Duty you can use Tuition Assistance which is $4500 every year to get an education, usually when you combine that with FAFSA grants it means you aren’t coming out of pocket at all. 
After you have served for 36 months you receive your GI Bill benefits which pay the full cost of all public schools and about $26k a year of private schools. I highly reccomend you wait to use your GI Bill until you are out of school though.

Depends but usually you get the GI Bill which can help.  If you qualify you may get assistance from the VA too if you are disabled as well. Personally I had an ROTC scholarship so I didn’t get the GI Bill so I have no advice for you about that.  I’m trying to get approved for vocational rehabilitation through the VA since I have a service connected disability and am going back to school in the fall and would like tuition assistance.  I’ve been out of the army for a while now but it’s never too late to due something different.  Good luck sweetie
