Infant Daycare

So the maternity conversation is coming up. So far I have told my employer that I am due in August but I haven’t had to commit to anything yet. It’s a small company so I get just 6 weeks of unpaid time off and I CANNOT combined it with PTO time as a way of having more time out of the office. He has made it so the maximum amount of time I can be out is 6 consecutive weeks. Honesty I don’t think that it’s legal for him to not allow me to use my PTO time.

But back to my question. He did offered for me to come back part time after 6 weeks but I would need to make sure the money coming in is greater than I would be paying for daycare.

Does anyone have an recommendations for daycare for a 6 week old baby? I am in the Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area.

How much do you pay or can I except to pay in this area?

Also, if anyone has any insight on whether the PTO thing is legal, let me know.
