Breast to sleep?

Question

My daughter has always been a great sleeper she’d wake a few times a night then, once a night and then none and would sleep in her rock and play no problem. The last few nights she has been needing to nurse to sleep and even to nap. She also will now wake up as soon as I set her down. Any suggestions?

Could definitely be a growth spurt, but my girl started doing that at 3/4 months when their sleep patterns change.  Best advice I read was to distance nursing with falling asleep to disassociate the two.  I would even slip my nipple out as she was falling asleep (it took a few tries,) but she would eventually fall asleep with nothing in her mouth.  If baby falls asleep at the breast, in warm arms, being rocked, etc.....they except the same situation if they wake up slightly.  That made so much sense to me and helped me a lot!
