Homemade Nut Butters

This isn't the best photo, but it's my two ingredient cashew butter. I make all of my own nut butters because I'm highly sensitive to oils and the refined sugar you often find in nut butters. Including the "healthy" alternatives that aren't so healthy.

My favourites to make are cashew, macadamia, peanut and almond.

All I do is throw whatever nuts I want to use in my trusty food processor and go on the high/purée setting for 10 minutes. I like to add cinnamon and a pinch of Himalayan salt 😁. If it's too dry, one teaspoon of oil (your choice) should moisten it. Otherwise, if you're patient, the nut oils will come out after you leave it to sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
