Have your babes entered the tantrum phase?

Wondering how concerned I should be lol my sons seem to be excessive and quite aggressive for a 1.5 year old but not sure. Any experienced mommas with input?

I have an 11 year old who had this phase... which I’d then forgotten about until my 16 month old started on it! 😂 Tantrums I can handle - just ignore them - but the tears/whinging/nothing-is-right stuff I CANT STAND!!! It does get better with time though; the tantrum behaviour is just an overload of emotions they don’t know what to do with. It’s not them being aggressive as such, and it’s not an indication that theyre going to be jerks, I promise!! “It’s just a phase” will be your mantra for the next year, & wine shall be your saviour!!

Yep! My little guy is soooooo dramatic! He was playing with the Xbox paddle and I took it away yet again and said “I said no, you can’t play with that.” What does he do? He does this 360 twirl and dramatically falls to the ground (not hard and you could tell it was on purpose) and then he just started screaming for about 3 seconds and then he was over it lmao!

It’s driving me BONKERS. How one child can be so discontented 😩 Not at all his usual sweet, jokey self :(

My son went through a small stage of tantrums during Leap 9. Other than those couple of weeks, which mostly consisted of him throwing himself on the ground and kicking his feet for about a minute, he never throws tantrums. He does cry when he gets his diaper changed, though. I'm hoping he stays tantrumless, but how many kids never really do that?
