As a singer ages, vibrato becomes more present, I wouldn't say that it's healthy or unhealthy just a natural thing.

Hey! Ivebeen in voice lessons for years. 
When you ground your sound more, meaning have your breath come from lower in your body and support using your abdominal muscles, all while keeping your vocal cords loose and unobstructed by any tension in the throat or jaw, vibrato will be easier to achieve. 
That said, false vibrato (forced quick vibrations) isn't coming from a healthy place.
Make sure to feel the sound coming from lower in the torso and resonate not in the throat but in the mask. Think of placing the sound in your front cheek bones. 
That's when you'll get a nice rounded vibrato!
