I’m so proud of myself

Grace • Girl mom to two beautiful girls👶🏻👧🏻

I got so much shame earlier in my pregnancy due to my age & the number one concern from people was always “how do you expect to afford a child? You’re still a child!” I’m happy to say that I’m only 22 weeks & I have fully purchased (on my own I might add) a bassinet, two car seats plus an extra base, a stroller, infant tub, crib, clothes that will last until baby girl is at least 6 months & now I’m stocking up on diapers and wipes. I saved $55 today on this pile because of my amazing couponing skills & got a $20 Target gift card because of a promotion they’re having right now. This mama is kicking ass.

I also feel it’s important to add (because I’m sure people will still criticize me) yes I know I have A LOT more expenses coming up the next 18+ years. I’m just proud of how I’m doing so far. I’ve had so much negativity towards me since I got pregnant & I’m proud I could prove those people wrong so far. I’m also proud that I haven’t asked for help at all when it comes to finances. My mom sacrificed everything for her kids & she’s done her part, now it’s my turn. (P.s. I have kept the receipts for the diapers just Incase they don’t work out, I was just taking advantage of a great offer)
