I’m a minimalist. I have everything because our friends and family gave them to us as gifts. But all a newborn really needs is onesies, diapers and Mom (milk) or formula. I breastfed though and I didn’t have to have all these bottles and cans. My son never liked anything, but I hear a lot of babies love their rock n play. The only thing my son would stay in (and only for about 20 minutes) was his swing. Babies really don’t need much. We just get carried away with so much neat stuff on the marker. The only “unnecessary” thing I found very helpful was the boppy for nursing. Congratulations!
