9 weeks pregnant and getting nails done? Is it safe?

Yesterday I went to the nail salon and got my nails done.. I’m just wondering if me doing this could have harmed the baby in any way?

Answer

It’s fine to get your nails done while pregnant (manicure/acrylic/gel). However the only thing you do need to worry about is catching a nail infection or fungus. So go to reputable salons that use new files and sterilised equipment. Getting rid of a nail fungus is a damn mission (coming from a nail tech 💅🏽)
