Is it normal to have nausea instead of morning sickness?

I’m pretty sure they are the same thing. Morning sickness isn’t just throwing up, and last time I checked you’re usually nauseous before you puke.

Yup. I didn’t throw up, really, but I dry heaved til I saw stars! I also never had crazy nausea, just right before the dry heaving would begin.

if the nausea gets too much then you get sick and the "morning" part...thats a damn lie! it's all day sickness for me.

The really crappy answer is that basically everything is normal. Our bodies each respond to pregnancy differently, and each pregnancy we each gave will be different for us. You could have all the symptoms, none of them, or a handful. Symptoms will come and go, will change, will suddenly appear or disappear, etc.

Yes. I didnt have morning sickness with either of my pregnancies but the nausea was terrible.
