Hello ladies. I have had a lump in my left breast for five years. It has been deemed fibrous tissue many times, so no problems. I have heard that it us very common in girls in their teens and twenties. I am 26. Since I became pregnant the lump has really begun to hurt badly. I got an ultrasound if it and the doctor said it has grown. Both things he says are normal during pregnancy due to all of the hormones. They want to do a biopsy. Unfortunately I have to reschedule my appointment for a few weeks out as I am starting a new job. I am curious if any women out there have dealt with fibrous tissue in their breasts as well? Or if any of you that have dealt with them had a biopsy and what we're the results? My doctor is pretty confident it is benign but would like to do the biopsy just as a precaution as it is causing a lot of pain (usually only to the touch).
