so I'm washing my face, minding my own business

when I look up into the mirror and see my husband standing like this

I got so scared that I threw my arm up and behind me and punched him in the face with the back of my hand

anytime he scares me, I usually just scream or almost pee. So me hitting him was unexpected on both our parts.

my fight or flight response is always freeze, so as soon as I smacked him he pretended to fall on the floor

and I started laughing so hard that I spit my gargle water all over the counter

In the end, he was proud of me and my fight reflux...and I don't feel bad because he was trying to scare me 😂
